TITLE: Manager, District Sales
LOCATION: Canada

Our client, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, is looking for a District Manager to join their team of dynamic sales professionals. The successful candidate will manage a sales force while providing leadership through the development and execution of regional sales strategies and tactics.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•     Deliver sales objectives with family physicians within an assigned district
•     Develop high performing sales teams through selection, coaching, development and retention of general territory sales representatives. Facilitate competency and leadership development of representatives
•     Analyze and interpret sales performance and trends for the assigned district. Build, execute and measure performance of district business and customer plans for all promoted products, in alignment with brand strategy
•     Lead team by example with a compelling vision for success
•     Recommend innovative approaches and business solutions to Regional Sales Director to drive business performance and align sales and marketing strategies
•     Input to regional sales, training and marketing strategies as required
•     Foster and maintain connections with key customers and stakeholders impacting GSK business
•     Plan and conduct team meetings.
•     Ensure team alignment to GSK Commercial policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•     Strong communication and influencing skills
•     Knowledge of business analysis tools to create business solutions
•     Understanding of products and environmental trends
•     Demonstrated leadership ability to enable and drive change, develop people and teams
•     Clear customer focus
•     Business planning ability
•     Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
