TITLE: Territory Representative
LOCATION: Québec

GSK is always looking for innovative new talent to join our dynamic sales team, for both current and future opportunities. We are searching across the Quebec Region for bold, decisive and career-minded professionals with a passion for leadership and a focus on solutions. This position will plan coverage and implement the marketing plan of action with physicians, pharmacists and hospitals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop and implement territory business plan for product mix in order to achieve/exceed sales objectives
•Develop a customer contact plan in order to achieve call  frequency and activity objectives
•Administer district disease management strategy
•Maintain contact with medical specialists, as appropriate, toward growing sales of product mix
•Communicate and consult with product managers, field representatives and others toward project planning and analysis of new business
•Support educational agendas by recruiting, developing and briefing sub-specialist program
•Prepare and manage territory budgets
•Allocate selling time to ensure optimal business development
•Prepare and submit administrative reports as required, on a timely basis
•30% – 40% TRAVEL Required

REQUIREMENTS:
•In-depth knowledge of disease area including competition, GSK Plan of Action, etc. for product mix
•In-depth knowledge of sales and competitive trends pertinent to product mix
•In-depth knowledge of climate affecting external customers and internal contacts; ability to gain this knowledge
•Demonstration of strong competencies in building professional relationships, flexibility, and a keen sense of personal motivation and drive.
•In-depth knowledge of data analysis techniques, including the ability to present complex data in an accessible manner.
•Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently
•Working knowledge of computer technology, including proficiency with MS office
•Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
•Working knowledge of interpretation of scientific research studies
•Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
•Previous pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred
•Mobile in Canada
•Bilingual (English and French)
